Fabulous hotel, clean and well organised. Given Covid all our meals were served in the Lindos Imperial, sister hotel. Food choices were excellent and with unlimited dine around... read more we were certainly spoilt. Great idea to download the Imperial app and book restaurants, very easy.
We chose to use the pools at the Breeze and we are so glad we did. Camelia was absolutely fab, making sure we always had a drink in hand, whether it be coffee, water, fruit juice or alcohol. This lady works so incredibly hard to make sure her guests completely relax. She is a credit to herself and the hotel. I hope she is recognised for all the hard work and personal service she provides.
I know that we have made a friend who we will stay in touch with. Thank you also for her fabulous surprise, announcing our engagement to other guests and asking them to join us poolside where she produced champagne, raising a glass to us and everyone offering their congratulations. A wonderful and touching moment. Thank you ❤️
22 October 2020Brilliant hotel !! Pool very relaxing and Camelia is such an amazing lady she goes above and beyond for all the guests around the pool! Will definitely recommend to friends... read more and family. Great rooms just remember to take mosquito repellent as they are the only downside to the holiday!

As some said finish in bathrooms is shocking, same as the brushed concrete look is nice and modern The pool bar was nice and relaxing and Camelia, as every else says is a credit to the hotel. At this time of year the restaurant there was sadly closed so all food and drinks had to be consumed in the main hotel. This was our first all inclusive holiday so some of this may be normal and we just didn’t like it! The main buffet hall is pretty awful. Dated and doesn’t match the rest of hotel. Isn’t on internet pics. Even at quiet time of year the nicer outside terrace was full very quickly so indoors was only option. It was hot and noisy. My little boy hated it. We didn’t enjoy fighting for buffet and there were very often no plates - it’s also a massive pain leaving kids on their own whilst you pick their food. It wasn’t suitable for them to choose their own until they are about 12. The food was fine and totally edible. But our biggest complaint that there was hardly any Greek food on the buffet. (And a la cartes we’re always full and not really appealing as just in main hotel dining room as a separated area - some just weren’t open at all). We thought we’d be feasting on gyros, souvlaki and kaleftiko but the only thing Greek was side salads every night. How strange they should choose an Italian, Mexican and Asian night but not one to celebrate their own wonderful cuisine!!
Pool areas were all really nice, modern and well laid out. Always plenty of beds. But lack of pool toilets nearby so you have to walk through the hotel with wet feet all the time. We found the staff at activity bar very rude and they looked thoroughly sick of serving greedy customers. The staff on the main pool bar near crepes were much better.
Beach wasn’t amazing but fine. So we didn’t use it much and chose to drive it Lindos and nearby Glistra bays instead. Nothing in surround area to talk too. Very scruffy as soon as you leave the compound. No bars or tavernas in walking distance.
My main criticism of the hotel though is the evening spaces. The main lobby bar and outdoor balcony is the main space. But it’s so bright. The lights are never dimmed and it’s like an airport lounge. Everyone sits playing cards. The staff were very good though and in particular thanks to Semis who was very very hard working. The balcony was nicer with amazing views but looked like a forgotten area with no planting. Also no entertainment and your couldn’t hear the live music from inside. Perhaps this was end of season problem too. Drinks were nice, beer actually quite drinkable. Cocktails varied from bar to bar.
The kids disco and evening entertainment is in this weird soulless amphitheater. Miles away up near activity pool. There is a little bar to get drinks but it’s not somewhere we felt we could sit and relax whilst the kids had fun. Drinks all in paper cups so not luxurious at all. More a pop there for disco and leave area. Which meant we didn’t have much chance to relax and chat with kids able to enjoy themselves near by as they are still young (2 and 7). The kids did love the nightly mini disco though.
Overall we had a nice family time but I’m glad we only paid a fraction of usual season prices as it did feel like a compromise holiday. I don’t think I’d go all inclusive again as we didn’t really feel like we’d been to Greece in the end and I missed explorin. But I guess that’s not really the hotel’s fault. Lindos is beautiful so I think we’ll try there again on a self made holiday!! More

The main reason we chose the breeze was for the food as illustrated on their website. If booking this hotel or the Lindos imperial be aware of the following:... read more 1) there is no food options at the breeze. The dedicated restaurant for the Breeze was closed in our visit. Pool bar shuts at 6. They offer pre made sandwiches and nothing else. No ice cream for the kids. 2) At time of writing the hotel offers one al la carte restaurant per night. This is rotated so one night Greek, one night Asian, one night Mexican and one night fish etc. Some are buffet not al la carte and correspond to the same theme night in the main buffet. They are all taken in the same restaurant. In past years, all restaurants are open all the time. 3) Due to the above, you cannot get booked into a restaurant unless you spend ages going back and forth to guest services. 5) buffet food appears good, but is served cold. Watch and you’ll notice a worrying trend - seafood buffet last night, seafood risotto tonight. These poor practices led to my husband getting ill - something many other guests have mentioned to us.
The hotel acknowledged all this to us, suggesting that due to COVID they couldn’t get enough staff. Interestingly though, every other hotel and restaurant around seems to be able to offer great service and great food.
The only positives were the great choice of pools and always plenty of sun loungers. Room was comfortable - would be nice if they finished the bathrooms at the breeze. A quick paint over a skimmed wall and shower floor that was clearly intended to be tiled is not 5*. More
25 October 2021Just got back from a week at the Lindos Breeze, although I should probably just say the Lindos resort, as the Breeze is basically one or two buildings and a... read more pool amongst the wider complex. We hardly spent any time actually at the Breeze, as all the restaurants/bars/etc are at the Imperial. However, if you wanted somewhere quiet to sit, the pool at the Breeze was great as it was slightly secluded from the rest of the resort. When you arrive, ask for a map because it took us a while to figure out where everything was!
Food/Drink:
The buffet restaurant is amazing - with loads of options, and different themed evenings so you get a real variety. The American pancakes at breakfast, and the pancetta pork that we had one evening were real highlights! The a la carte options, however, are not as amazing as they are hyped up to be. They are basically all in one large, soulless room next to the pool, with dividers splitting it up into sections for Mexican, Italian, Greek, and Asian. There's no real ambience, they sort of feel like a random addition they've shoved on for the sake of saying that there are a la carte options. The Mexican was pretty bad - not many options (only one choice of dessert), and the quality of the food wasn't great. We were booked in at the Italian the following night, but decided to skip it as we preferred the food at the buffet. We had the Greek one booked on our last night, and this was better (which you would expect I suppose, being in Greece!).
The snack bars by the pools are also great - the Souvlaki one by the activity pool was our favourite! And the chips from the beach bar are amazing.
The drinks were a real let down. I think this, for me, is where I feel the resort fails as a 5-star. The drinks aren't branded, and are really poor quality. It took me a while to try and find one I actually liked. They also free-pour the spirits, which at first you're like "woohoo party" but actually, it just makes the drinks totally overpowering, especially when the alcohol is already quite bleachy! To be fair, it's what I expected from an all-inclusive, but perhaps I was just misled by the 5-star rating. One positive though is that the waiters at the main bar will remember your drinks orders and bring you your favourites without you even having to ask! That definitely feels luxury - it's just a shame that the product they're serving isn't.
Staff:
On the whole, staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff and the "Captain" who welcomes you into the main restaurant. The animation team are a huge asset to the resort - during the day they're leading aquafit classes and the mini club, then by night they're putting on professional singing/dance shows in the ampitheatre. Very talented!
The only let downs were, ironically, the Guest Relations Manager, who was probably one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. When we were booking in our a la carte meals, she asked for my name for the booking. I told her my name and she laughed in my face, and said no, this won't work. I need an easy name. Luckily my partner is called James, which was easy enough for her! Although we laughed about it, I just thought this was such a weird response, I could have happily spelled my name for her? She also just had a general attitude of "this is a big inconvenience to me". We found that a couple of the reception staff at the Breeze were also a little unhelpful/not very forthcoming with information.
Facilities:
The facilities are superb - there's definitely a lot to keep you entertained. During the day, there's lots of different swimming pools and the beach with watersports etc. There's also a bus stop right outside the lobby which takes you into Rhodes/Lindos if you fancy a change of scenery. In the evening, the animation team put on a great show at the ampitheatre, or there's always some live music on at the main bar (we had a great time dancing here with the other guests).
All in all, the resort is great and I can see how this would also be a lovely place for families. I just think the 5-star rating is a little misleading, for UK travellers anyway.
8 October 2021I booked the Lindos Breeze through a Travelzoo deal, wasn't really sure what to expect but was looking for a 'cheap but nice' week in the sun. The Lindos Breeze... read more is a very small hotel set within the bigger Lindos Imperial, and (I think) owned by the same people company - the Breeze is basically a block of rooms within the Imperial, that have the benefit of their own pool and pool bar.
The setting of the whole resort is beautiful, with stunning planting and bougainvillea everywhere so you know you're in the Mediterranean. Sea views from the main areas of the hotel and views from the room were good, looking over the Breeze pool and with mountains to the left and the sea to the right.
The pools are all good, with comfy sunloungers. The food is good, whether in the buffet or a la carte. The staff serve you in the buffet, and they're generous with the portions. We tried the Italian, Asian, Mexican and Greek a la carte restaurants, all very good. You book the restaurants via the app, which was easy and you can see the menus before booking; we were a little concerned when seeing the menus as the Mexican and Asian don't have vegetarian mains, however we put a note on the booking and when we arrived for our reservation they knew we were veggie and had a range of delicious options available.
The drinks are variable, with the same cocktail being made differently depending on who makes it. Without a doubt the best cocktails we found were from Camellia in the Breeze pool bar; in a hotel where every single staff member was brilliant, friendly and so hard-working, Camellia still managed to stand out. She would frequently do the rounds of the pool to take drinks orders, and deliver them to your sunlounger, and when it was another guest's birthday she gathered the few people who were round the pool and produced a bottle of 'champagne', which was a lovely touch. After a long day serving everyone at the pool, she'd then be found working in the restaurant in the evening; many of the staff can be seen working hard at breakfast, lunch and still be on the go serving and clearing dinner late into the evening. They must be exhausted, but you never see it, in a whole week we didn't meet any staff member who was anything less than friendly, welcoming and eager to help - I only hope management fully recognise what a great team they have. I unfortunately didn't get the name of 'cheese man', a young, slim, dark-haired man who tends to the salad and cheese section at dinner in the buffet, but he always took so much care to give you a good selection of different cheeses, and to arrange the cheese nicely on your plate with garnishes etc - a lovely touch, when it would have been easier to just plonk it on!
The only downside at this hotel was the wine, which varied from okay to not nice. Sparkling wine is included in the all inclusive, however we found that one glass we'd order would be nice, the next would be undrinkable. Partway through the holiday we discovered why - sometimes we'd get actual sparkling wine, other times it was sparkling apple wine (I.e bad cider), and there seemed to be no rhyme or reason as which you'd get. The Italian restaurant served the nice version though, and they kept our glasses topped up!
All in all we spent a lovely week at the Lindos Breeze/Imperial, and it was an absolute bargain for the price we paid. I would recommend it due to the staff, scenery and food, and if they get rid of the apple wine I would return!
